Well, look for pundits to be predicting another Rodney King from this video. Personally, I don't think so. First, we're a lot more sympathetic to the police right now. I don't know whether or not this kid deserved to be hit, but notice that he was only hit once, and not repeatedly clubbed (we also can't see behind the kid or under his waist, so we don't know if he was kicking or trying to get out of his handcuffs). Finally, and perhaps most importantly, look at the cop on the right. It doesn't look too much like race was much of a factor in this incident, now does it?
